#AcademicRunPlaylist - 9/20/24

A selfie of me in front of a brook winding through a marsh leading the Charles River on a cloudy day. I'm a bald, middle-aged, white man with a red beard flecked with white. I'm wearing black sunglasses and a bring yellow and blue running shirt

It finally feels like fall in Boston, and I was able to enjoy the cool weather with a decent run accompanied by talks for my #AcademicRunPlaylist!

First was an interesting talk by Koffi Nomedji on combining AI and indigenous knowledge in African smallholder farming at the Design Justice Network https://www.youtube.com/live/VPv2fK6a4KI?si=YmA9g4HRfTToML8J&t=1913

Next was an intriguing talk by Silvia De Sojo Caso on the gender gaps in human mobility at the Network Science Institute https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqTcj61zAok

Last was a fascinating talk by Sudev Sheth on how one of India's most prominent business families grew with the Mughal Empire and expanded their own power and the state at the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4GT0ERqUKY
