First was a fantastic discussion with Ann Lipton on how powerful economic and political actors are eroding shareholder rights at the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI). Lipton clearly lays out why expanding the metrics that investors and shareholders use to make decisions leaves the process open to political intervention and the threat recent developments pose to investor rights.
