Last was an amazing talk by Zeke Hernandez on the effects of immigration enforcement on local business activity at the Immigration Policy Lab. This work is both impressive and important, with Zeke rigorously demonstrating the lasting negative impact of ICE on essentially every aspect of the local economy that isn’t tied to subsistence.
