Today was pretty busy for me (heron pic is from yesterday's run), but I was still able to fit in some talks for my #AcademicRunPlaylist!

First was a great talk by Noshir Contractor on re-pairing teams for long-duration space exploration (!) at SIOP https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fcpwbvn6t3s

Next was a nice talk by Penny Mealy on the power of economic complexity analysis at the Oxford Martin School https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMKwlysT23Y

Next was a fascinating symposium on the 250th anniversary of the Donaldson v. Beckett decision in the UK, which strengthened literary work copyright protections, with Robin Jacob, Hector MacQueen, Catriona MacLeod Stevenson, and Jaani Riordan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWjE_nJK8gI

Next was a wide-ranging conversation with Luigi Zingales on the DMA, global platform antitrust efforts, AI, and more on Oles Andriychuk's Digital Markets Research Hub https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DNs_IyF0Eg

Next was an interesting talk by Anthony Wambugu on the labor market status of people with disabilities in Kenya at CEPR https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ws1cKZ8K3Ik

Next was the complete talk by Laura Forlano and Danya Glabau on their book "Cyborgs for the 21st Century" at the Burnes Center for Social Change https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7qnenp8rq8

Next was an insightful talk by Shelley J. Correll on the gendered language of performance assessment at the Cornell University ILR School. Correll is a giant in the field, and this talk shows why with a deep study of real world performance reviews and interventions to improve gender equality. Highly recommend https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BYHvkJ5E1U

Last was a thought-provoking talk by Kumar Rakesh Ranjan on the impact of failing fast on salesperson performance in B2B sales at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bW2wbidRSjM
